hmm...what might this image have to do with this posting? only the fact that my fingers now resemble cocktail sausages. or at least that's what it seems like to me. i also remarked earlier in the week that my ankles and feet seem swollen too...resembling maybe piggy hooves? ken says that i'm going nutty. can't tell if my legs also are bigger, i suppose i could whip out a measuring tape to see for certain, but i don't think i want to go there. i've definitely noticed an increase in numbness in my fingertips (wasn't so bad in the left hand before, but definitely feeling it now), but i've also heard from other previously pregnant women that they suffered from the same affliction. that makes me feel a bit better. one woman i met on sunday said that hers still hasn't gone away completely. her son is 5 months old. that, on the other hand, doesn't make me feel better. nothing i can do for now, but hope that it'll go away in time. fatigue has also returned this week. walking too quickly makes my belly uncomfortable. i guess it's cuz baby's putting on more weight...and i know that's a good thing!other new things to note for this week: we've seen my belly move! it's kind of weird, but interesting. can't wait to see an actual hand, elbow, heel, or foot protrude. hopefully we can catch that on film. baby mo has been much more active in the last couple weeks as well. i'll be going for my next OB check-up tomorrow morning where i should find out the results of my glucose test. eeps! hopefully gestational diabetes isn't also in my near future. tomorrow also marks the start of increased visits to the OB. i'll now be going every two weeks instead of every four until about week 34-36 when i'll be starting weekly visits to her office. i guess this all means that baby's arrival isn't too far away! we've added a ticker to the top of the blog page and it's kind of neat (yet scary) to see exactly how many days left until baby's potential arrival. 7 more weeks of work left and 9.5 weeks until baby. here's to hoping that i don't deliver much earlier than predicted cuz there is still so much to do!

awwww...i didn't know you had a glucose test. bad week for brownies!! sorry!
actually my glucose test was three weeks ago so the brownies would have had no effect on the outcome. besides...ken ate most of them anyway. ;o) and they were delicious! he wants me to take baking lessons from you.
