okay so this post is coming a bit late. things have been quite hectic over the last while with the chinese new year's festivities. the above photo was taken at new year's day dim sum with my grandmother. pictured are the four generations of my family on my mom's side. nathan has had quite the prosperous new year already with all the lai-see (lucky $$$) he raked in from four sides of the family. this weekend, more celebrating is in store as we are hosting his moon-yuet on friday. typically this takes place on the baby's one month birthday, but since he was born early, we thought we'd wait until his second month birthday. all the family will be coming together to help us celebrate the birth of our son. also this weekend, nathan will get to meet his auntie venetia who will be in town for her residency interviews. looking forward to catching up with family and friends!
