so today started out being a poor day in terms of napping. i took nathan out a couple of times hoping that he'd fall asleep while we were out. we came home in-between and he was fed, but still didn't fall asleep. when we came home the second time, i decided to try putting him in his crib. he didn't seem to like it. turned the mobile on...still whining. i thought i'd try something different so i went to my room and grabbed my bose sounddock and ipod. went back to his room and plugged it in. selected the hip-hop/rap genre. nathan's still crying. then jay-z & beyoncé's '03 bonnie & clyde starts playing (yeah...i know...haven't updated the ipod in a while)...crying turns to whining, i leave the room, come back 5 minutes later and he's asleep on his stomach! now it's been two hours since he went to sleep, sounddock is still blasting the music, nathan's still asleep. why is it that he'll only fall asleep if i create a club environment in his room? lil weirdo. but whatever...it works! maybe we should do this overnight too!
oh...and he doesn't like peaches (unless it's mixed in with his rice cereal):

Maybe while you're out of the room with the hip hop blasting, he's bustin' his moves til he tires himself out and plops down just before you return to check on him .. you need a hidden camera to see what he's up to.

Such a cutie!!! You better show him pictures of me on a regular basis or else I'd really scare him with the hugs and kisses next time we meet. Hehehee ..
hahaha man, i really do need a hidden camera. that would be super funny if he was dancing so hard that he pooped himself out. :oP
next time we skype i'll make sure he's awake so you two can chat. ;o)
