been super bad about updating the blog lately. just life catching up with me, i guess. a more in-depth update on the past month to come later in the week. for now, here's a belated 13-month-old entry...weight is still hovering around the same mark. i think he's put on maybe 1/2 a pound? we'll say that he's 20.5 lbs now. the kid just doesn't seem to want to put on weight. he eats okay, though he's gotten A LOT pickier. something he used to love, he'll all of a sudden not want to eat. he now likes to put something in his mouth and then pull it back out to look at it before deciding if it'll go back in or if it'll just get dumped on the floor. definitely makes for messier meal times. the only food exception is yogurt. anytime. anywhere. it's the magic food. the kid is never not in the mood for yogurt. he's also been very active and moves around constantly, so i guess whatever calories he ends up consuming just gets burned off immediately. not *too* worried about it right now since he still seems healthy.
well tomorrow is the big day... we're praying for a speedy recovery for our lil guy. hopefully he won't be in too much pain. trying real hard not to get too anxious about it all. i think the waiting until the surgery is over will be the worst part. i should probably bring something to keep me distracted...
