so we are now three days post-op and our lil guy seems to be doing just fine. we were giving him painkillers quite regularly the first couple of days, but we ended up giving him less today since he doesn't seem to be as uncomfortable. the first day after surgery was pretty rough. it's so hard to see your child in pain. i think i realized that i'm weaker than i thought. ken has definitely been the stronger one in the situation, but i guess that's just one reason why it's good to have a partner in parenting.

Glad to hear all is well. I can't even imagine how hard it would have been to see your baby in pain! Wishing lil Nate a speedy recovery.
