new hairdo

we finally went and got nathan's hair cut! the last time we cut it was before we went to maui way back at the beginning of november. that time we shaved his head at home. this time, i wanted to take him to an actual hair salon to see what they could do with his hair. we ended up taking him to the place where i get my hair cut and i think it turned out quite well...though the hairdresser put some hair paste in it and i really doubt that we'd ever put product in his hair at home. here's the final product:

we observed what the hairdresser did and i think next time we'll save the $16 and try it ourselves at home. i guess if we really botch it up, we can just go back to the shaved head look.  :o)
