i've been really bad about posting any kind of belly pics so far, so finally here is one of my 31 week belly. it's a self-portrait from my phone so it was a bit difficult to take, but you get the jist.

so far i think i've gained about 12 kg. my blood pressure has been really good so far and by glucose test came back normal. phew! i'm now at the point where i have to go see the doctor every two weeks. my next appointment is on wednesday and i'll be getting another ultrasound done to check on the baby's growth. i'm excited to get to see the baby again. he/she has been rather active...rolling around, kicking...but i love feeling all the movements. feels reassuring. once i thought i hadn't really felt baby moving around much so i decided to jiggle my belly to see if i could get baby to move around. i guess baby didn't like it too much cuz he/she responded with a swift kick to my bladder. yipes. anyway, we'll try and get a copy of one of the photos from the u/s on wednesday and post it later this week. it really does feel like this pregnancy is flying by. before we know it, the new baby will be here and the sleepless nights will return. it's looking like ken will be able to take six week parental leave from work, so i'm really looking forward to having him home with us while we get used to life with two kiddos. of course, i'm still praying that this baby will stay in the oven 'til full term and that we won't have to be in the hospital for 2-3 weeks. i'm 6 weeks away from being "full term", so not much more to go!
