so i went for another ultrasound on wednesday at my usual check-in with the OB. baby seems to be doing well and is at the 50th percentile for weight. looks like this will be a bigger baby than nathan since he was at the 10th percentile. they think he was on the lighter side because of my blood pressure issues the first time around. so right now baby 2 is estimated at 3lbs 10oz. during the ultrasound, the tech also noted that baby is in breech position. last time the baby's position was fine (head down), but he/she seems to move around a lot. at my next appointment in 2 weeks' time, i have to get another ultrasound done to check to see if baby has moved out of breech. i'm praying hard that baby will turn around again otherwise if baby stays in breech, i will have to get a c-section. really don't want that. seems like there should still be time for the baby to move into position, so i'm trying not to worry about that right now. if at the next ultrasound, baby is still in breech position, then i think i'm going to look into some alternative methods to encourage the baby to move. the clinic i go to for prenatal massage has an acupuncturist that works there as well and apparently she has had some good success with turning babies using acupuncture. definitely worth a try, in my opinion.
unfortunately, no updated photo of baby 2. sunnybrook has now starting charging for copies of pictures. if we wanted one, it would've cost $5.75. a little steep, non?
