the weather is finally warming up, which means we can go and play at the park again! now that amelia is so much more mobile, it's a lot more fun for her. she loves walking up and down the ramps and exploring the surroundings. this time we even got her going down the slide on her own. she isn't quite sure how to navigate it so she starts on her bum and half way down she ends up flipping onto her tummy. we attempted to get a photo of brother and sister going down the slides together, but clearly one of them got distracted by something/someone else. the weather was great this past Easter weekend, so the park was full of kids.
we've been trying to sort through all the stuff in our basement and semi-organize the crawl space. while trying to get rid of a bunch of old empty boxes, ken came across nathan's high chair box. it had a house design on it already so just a few cuts and some tape resulted in a cute little cardboard house. it took amelia a bit of convincing at first to go inside, but now she loves it. in fact, both of them love it so much that they sometimes have to fight the other to get in. i encouraged them to just go in together. hahah it's a bit crowded even with just two little people, but hey, it fosters sharing, right?
