time flies...

not much to report this week. carpal tunnel in my right hand is getting worse and we still haven't heard back from insurance about whether or not they'll cover the splints/braces. it's hard to hold anything for longer than a few seconds without getting the tinglies in my fingers. oh well...what can you do? i also haven't really been keeping track of weight gain so i'm a wee bit nervous about my next weigh-in next week at the OB's office. ken says that my appetite has greatly increased. haha it's hard to believe that i'll be starting my third trimester in about a week or two. definitely feeling more sore and more tired now and it's getting harder to sleep comfortably. guess it only gets harder from here with getting bigger and all...oh yeah, and then sleep goes out the window after baby arrives, right? :o)

Breast pumps. Then you make Ken do all the feeding. You sleep. He feeds. Let him put his nine months in.

sounds like a plan. but he might pull the whole "i have to go to work while you get to stay at home therefore you should be the one to get up" crap. but rest assured, i WILL make him pull his weight.

May I suggest the Medela Pump in Style? It'll be a good investment.

But still .. breastfeeding is WAY faster than pumping and bottlefeeding.

ooh i registered for the medela pump since its write-up said it was "hospital recommended". good to have a second recommendation from you too though. yes, i have heard that it's faster to just breastfeed (no sterilizing, no warming up, etc.), but i probably will employ the pump at times as well. more chances for ken to participate. :o)

Of course you'll be pumping! Didn't want to give you the impression that I was expecting you to breastfeed 24/7 on demand. :)

Actually, to reduce your workload, you actually do not need to sterilize bottles (you do have to sterilize the pump once daily however) contrary to what you may be hearing from nurses and other sources. Just soap and warm water is just fine.
