our first christmas morning with two kiddos. ken and nathan slept in until quite late as amelia and i waited patiently to open presents. the boys finally meandered downstairs just past 11 (it had been a late night the night before) and we got to the business of present opening. nathan still doesn't seem that interested in gifts, but we coaxed him over towards the christmas tree and got him ripping some open. he'd get really interested in one particular gift and then not want to open any more. maybe next year he'll be more excited and aware of the holiday.
