a visit with santa

a lil conversation with santa

so in the grand christmas tradition, i took nathan to visit santa at the mall last week. this actually marks his second visit with santa, as santa made a personal appearance at the NICU last christmas while we were still there. of course, most/all malls have their own santa set-up, but they are usually ridiculously overpriced. for example, i think the one at fairview mall was charging an exorbitant amount of $12 for one 5" x 7". then while at bayview village the other day, i noticed a sign saying that santa photos are available between the hours of 12 and 4 p.m. AND there is one complimentary photo per child. wow! what a great deal! and so that is where we went to get these photos done. if you wanted to have any additional prints besides the free one, they were only charging the regular blacks photo developing price (39 cents for 4" x 6"; $1.99 for 5" x 7"). as per usual, i got suckered into buying an extra print, but i figured for $1.99, i couldn't really lose. ;o)
