so tonight we + doug, andrea, mike and lemuel went to the rogers centre (skydome!) for the jays vs. red sox game. it was nate's first time at a baseball game. he went to the leafs game with daddy back in march and we're planning on going to the raptors/spurs game in january, so we'll have almost covered all the major sporting events. maybe we can get tickets to a toronto fc game before the end of the season. really, the pinnacle would be if we could get tickets to see man u play...if we end up going to england in the fall.
though neither ken nor i are fans of baseball, the game tonight was quite exciting. we left at the end of the 8th inning, but i'm pretty sure toronto probably lost 10-9, which was what the score was when we left. one of ken's reasons for wanting to go to the game was because he thought someone would buy nathan some sort of jays/red sox gear. lemuel had agreed when doug told him ken's plan. and then apparently andrea also said she'd get him something. though what ended up happening at the end of the night was uncle doug getting suckered into buying his nephew a baby baseball cap. but he does look awfully cute in it...
