since we had to cancel our trip to japan, we had to figure out something else to do with the extra week in HK. so off we (us, baby, and grandparents) went to hong kong disneyland. we stayed at the disneyland resort in one of their two hotels since they had a special going on which included entrance to the park for two days. now, hk disneyland is quite small, so one wonders if two days is really necessary. if you don't have a small baby, you can easily do everything in the park all in one day. but since nathan doesn't nap well on the road, it was good that we had a hotel room nearby where he could nap. also, it was CRAZY HOT the first day there. thank goodness for air conditioned shops and indoor rides.

note the crazy lady next to me waving enthusiastically at the dwarves. i think she was here all by herself as she asked me several times (i'm thinking at least 3 or 4) to take photos of her striking zany poses with the parade in the background.
